Khép lại năm 2022, mức lỗ ròng tính từ đầu năm của VEIL - quỹ lớn nhất thuộc nhóm Dragon Capital - tại thị trường Việt Nam lớn hơn mức giảm của VN-Index.

Đóng cửa phiên cuối cùng của năm  2022, VN-Index đạt 1,007.18 điểm, giảm 41.33 điểm so với cuối tháng 11, giảm 3.9%. Bên cạnh đó, với mức này, VN-Index đã giảm 491.19 điểm so với mốc 1,498.28 điểm của năm 2021 (31/12/2021), tỷ lệ giảm tương đương 32.8%.

Theo đó, giá trị tài sản ròng (NAV) của Vietnam Enterprise Investments Limited (VEIL) - quỹ lớn nhất thuộc Dragon Capital - tăng 2.1% trong tháng 12, tương đương tăng gần 32.9 triệu USD (hơn 766 tỷ đồng), lên hơn 1.61 tỷ USD.

VEIL cho biết tốc độ tăng giá trị tài sản tháng qua nghịch chiều với VN-Index, chủ yếu nhờ diễn biến tích cực của cổ phiếu ngành năng lượng trong tuần cuối tháng 12.

Tuy nhiên, với giá trị tài sản ròng giảm mạnh trong 2 tháng trước đó (tháng 9 giảm 14.8% và tháng 10 giảm 14%) thì dù có lãi liên tiếp 2% trong tháng 11 và 2.1% trong tháng 12, lỗ sau 1 năm tại thị trường Việt Nam của VEIL vẫn ở mức 36.04%, cao hơn mức giảm của VN-Index (giảm 32.8% trong vòng 1 năm qua).

Đáng chú ý, sau khi nâng tỷ trọng tiền mặt lên mức kỷ lục 13.81% vào giữa tháng 11, tương đương hơn 198 triệu USD, thì đến thời điểm 05/01/2023, tỷ trọng tiền mặt của VEIL giảm xuống chỉ còn 0.71%, tương đương gần 12.11 triệu USD. So với mức 4.76% cuối tháng 11, tỷ trọng tiền mặt của quỹ đã giảm 4.05 điểm phần trăm.

VEIL giảm mạnh tỷ trọng tiền mặt trong bối cảnh thị trường được đánh giá đã qua giai đoạn khó khăn nhất. Với góc nhìn trung - dài hạn, rõ ràng sau giai đoạn dài (1 năm) trong downtrend đã làm mặt bằng giá cổ phiếu giảm mạnh và trở nên hấp dẫn hơn. Mặc dù xét dưới góc độ vĩ mô năm 2023 có thể vẫn còn nhiều khó khăn như lãi suất có xu hướng tăng và neo cao, nguồn tiền rẻ cạn dần, kinh tế toàn cầu vẫn chưa có tín hiệu tích cực.....nhưng mặt bằng giá cổ phiếu đã chiết khấu về mức hấp dẫn như hiện tại sẽ mở ra những cơ hội đầu tư nắm giữ trung dài hạn hấp dẫn.
