Dù VN-Index từng có khoảng thời gian dao động rất tiêu cực ngay trước khi đóng cửa. Tuy nhiên, sau cùng chỉ số vẫn có thêm một phiên tăng điểm để hồi trở lại mốc 1.055. Lực kéo mạnh mẽ từ nhóm ngân hàng đã giúp VN-Index lấy lại sắc xanh. Kết quả chung cuộc cho phiên đáo hạn phái sinh hôm nay là phe Long giành chiến thắng khi kéo trụ vào cuối phiên và VN30-Index đóng cửa tăng gần 12 điểm.

Sự trở lại của cổ phiếu vốn hóa lớn trong giao dịch hôm nay đã lan tỏa hưng phấn trên thị trường, rổ VN30 ghi nhận sắc xanh áp đảo với 19/30 mã tăng giá.

Dẫn đầu chiều tăng là VPB (HM:VPB) tăng hết biên độ lên 18.200 đồng thị giá; đây cũng là mã ảnh hưởng tích cực nhất lên VN-Index với gần 2 điểm. Theo sau VPB là MBB (HM:MBB) (+4,4%), TCB (HM:TCB) (+2,4%), MSN (HM:MSN) (+2,3%), VIB (HM:VIB) (+1,9%), ...

Ngoài ngân hàng, cổ phiếu các ngành mang tính dẫn dắt như chứng khoán, bán lẻ, thép, ... cũng góp công lớn trong việc củng cố sắc xanh của thị trường chung.

Đóng cửa, VN-Index tăng 4,89 điểm (0,47%) lên 1.055,32 điểm, HNX-Index giảm 0,25 điểm (0,12%) xuống 212,95 điểm, UPCoM-Index tăng 11,91 điểm (1,13%) lên 1.068,08 điểm.

Điều còn thiếu trong phiên hôm nay là thanh khoản duy trì ở mức thấp với giá trị giao dịch khớp lệnh trên HOSE chỉ đạt hơn 11.200 tỷ đồng. Tính chung toàn thị trường thì giá trị giao dịch giảm nhẹ 2% còn 13.932 tỷ đồng.

Giao dịch khối ngoại cũng là điểm sáng khi họ trở lại mua ròng mạnh mẽ gần 320 tỷ đồng trên HOSE trong đó lực mua tập trung ở các cổ phiếu như VND (HM:VND), DXG (HM:DXG), HPG (HM:HPG), CTG (HM:CTG),...
