Sau khi hoàn thành phát hành cổ phiếu để trả cổ tức tỷ lệ 15%, vốn điều lệ của Bảo hiểm VietinBank dự kiến sẽ tăng từ 666,7 tỷ đồng lên 766,7 tỷ đồng. Chiều ngày 9/1/2023 tại Hà Nội, Tổng Công ty Cổ phần Bảo hiểm Ngân hàng TMCP Công thương Việt Nam (HM:CTG) (Bảo hiểm VietinBank - VBI) đã tổ chức Đại hội đồng cổ đông (ĐHĐCĐ) bất thường lần thứ 1 năm 2023.

Tại Đại hội, VBI đã thông qua phương án trả cổ tức năm 2021, sửa đổi và bổ sung Điều lệ tổ chức, hoạt động của VBI cho phù hợp với kế hoạch phát hành cổ phiếu để trả cổ tức năm 2021.

Theo đó, VBI dự kiến phát hành thêm 10 triệu cổ phiếu với mệnh giá 10.000 đồng/cổ phiếu, tổng giá trị phát hành thêm là 100 tỷ đồng. Tỷ lệ thực hiện tương đương 15% tổng số lượng cổ phiếu đang lưu hành. Đối tượng phát hành là các cổ đông hiện hữu có tên trong danh sách cổ đông tại ngày đăng ký cuối cùng để thực hiện quyền nhận cổ tức bằng cổ phiếu.

Nguồn vốn thực hiện phát hành từ lợi nhuận sau thuế và trích quỹ năm 2021 (căn cứ số liệu tại Báo cáo tài chính năm 2021 đã được kiểm toán của VBI). Thời gian phát hành dự kiến trong Quý 1/2023. Như vậy, sau khi hoàn thành phát hành cổ phiếu để trả cổ tức, vốn điều lệ của VBI dự kiến sẽ tăng từ 666,7 tỷ đồng lên 766,7 tỷ đồng.

Năm 2022, VBI ghi nhận kết quả kinh doanh tích cực so với bức tranh chung của thị trường bảo hiểm phi nhân thọ, với tổng doanh thu phí bảo hiểm dự kiến đạt hơn 3.200 tỷ đồng, tương đương 102% kế hoạch, tăng trưởng 30% so với cùng kỳ. Doanh thu bảo hiểm gốc ước tăng 32% lên khoảng 3.050 tỷ đồng, gấp gần 2 lần so với mức tăng trưởng trung bình ngành. Lợi nhuận trước thuế tăng 25% lên gần 254 tỷ đồng.
