ECOMI and Immutable X’s Partnership to Boost Premium NFTs on the Ethereum Network

ECOMI, a Singapore-based technology company, has started integrating its VeVe app-based digital collectibles marketplace into Immutable X. It was in May 2021 that ECOMI made the initial announcement regarding its partnership with Immutable X.

Immutable X is the first layer 2 (L2) solution for Ethereum that is focused on scaling non-fungible tokens (NFTs) without the need to compromise decentralization. With this integration, more than 2.6 million premium licensed NFTs have been moved to the Ethereum network.

This move, in turn, allows over 1 million registered and active VeVe users to transact with zero gas fees, exclusively own their carbon-neutral assets, and engage with the vibrant Ethereum NFT Community.

Built on top of StarkWare’s cutting-edge zero-knowledge proof technology, Immutable X’s L2 solution is made compatible with Ethereum. In addition, it allows users to enjoy massive scalability, instant transactions, and gasless NFT trades with premium collectibles from prominent brands like Marvel, DC Comics, Disney, and Warner Bros to name a few.

Furthermore, VeVe is also on the road to improving its carbon impact by offering grants worth over $7 million to environmental advocacies and nonprofits.
